How to attack Iran and get away with it.

I was just watching Season 2 Episode 1 of South Park while eating lunch today (you know the one where Terrance and Phillip save Canada from Saddam) and a thought came to mind about how the US can attack Iran and get away with it. Pull out of Iraq. That's right pull the remaining 50,000 troops out of Iraq and bring them home. That will create a vacuum of power in Iraq and give the Iranian government the opportunity to invade. Then the US can attack Iran in response (similar to how we bailed out Kuwait). We won't have to do a full scale invasion but just enough to drive them out of Iraq and take out their nuclear facilities. This way we end up looking like heros for saving Iraq instead of a bully for taking down Iran without provocation. Think about it...

My New Ride

_steelreserve_8_peasoup_1

I've recently been bitten by the dirt jump bug ever since we built a few table tops out at the MMP pump track. After riding some of my friends DJ bikes I realized that I would rather have a DJ specific bike the the OM Flyer. Over the last couple of weeks I've been working on selling my the Flyer and Surly Cross Check to raise enough money to get a new DJ bike. On Monday, I finally got both sold and had enough cash to go to my favorite bike shop and order up my new ride. When I got there the showed me the bikes they had access to. Before heading down I had my heart set on a 2011 Specialized P.1 It was within my price range and had exactly what I was looking for. When I got there they told me they where getting awesome deals on Haro Steel Reserve 8s. After some talking it out and drooling over the catalogs I decided to pull the trigger on the Haro instead. The deal was too good to be true.

One thing I've realized while recovering the last few days from overtraining is that I was way too focused on working out instead of having fun on my bike. Every ride was a hammerfest instead of working on my flow and just enjoying life on the bike. I need to get back to the fun and I'm pretty sure this bike will help take me there.
